Royal Selangor's Marine stemware is classic and elegant. Each glass has a pewter base that embodies the soft waves and gentle spirals of the sea.
The colourless glass allows the drinker to inspect the rich colour and the texture of the wine. The tulip shape, wherein the glass tapers back at the lip, allows for the concentration and collection of a wine's aroma. When the glass is swirled, the wine's fragrance is released. This is the optimal shape that allows the drinker to best appreciate the bouquet.
The tall stem allows the drinker to hold the glass without warming the wine with his body heat and also prevents the fingers from smudging the glass.
