Antique electric oven, never been used, in VGC. Made of cast aluminium with enamelled steel sheet, and some nice ceramic knobs. There's a makers plate on the side - it was made in Lanarkshire, England, probably 50's, branded British Electric, with a GE symbol - but I can't find anything about British Electric on the web. So it's a bit of a mystery, and possibly quite rare ... any clues welcome.
I've had this for years, and used it as a stereo cabinet for a long time - an amp fits in the griller space quite nicely - but time for it to go to a new loving home. It comes with a good story too, that I'm happy to tell to anyone who considers buying it.
Dimensions are 540wide x 520 deep x 910/1070 high (cooking surface/backplate).
Needless to say, it's very heavy, and postage is out of the question. Pick up from Preston.
