Job Details:
We have an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Workers Compensation and Rehabilitation Manager to join our HSSE team in South Melbourne, and oversee all aspects of workers compensation and return to work initiatives across ANZ.
With 1 direct report (Workers Compensation Advisor) this role provides proactive advice regarding appropriate treatment, services and reporting, ensuring effective claims strategies are implemented for all claims.
As our Workers Compensation and Rehabilitation Manager, you can expect to:
Deliver statutory benefits to injured/ill workers in line with regulatory requirements whilst reducing liabilities through effective claims management and early return to work
Manage compliance and monitor performance standards for the achievement and maintenance of the Mondelez self-insurance license
Act as an internal expert on claims, analyses and support the development of relevant performance indicators
Provide specialist support in all aspects of workers compensation claims and return to work strategy and process
Develop and facilitate training for relevant stakeholders
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legislation and effective administration of workers compensation claims and injury management processes
Qualifications
Do you have what it takes?
As the successful candidate you will have relevant qualifications in a related OHS field, and significant experience in a senior Workers Compensation role ideally gained in a self-insured environment. Technically you will be well versed in relevant legislation and are proactive in keeping up to date with new trends. Personally, you are an influential business partner who thrives on building strong stakeholder relationships and driving change. Occupational Health experience is highly desirable.
