Job Details: Williamson's FoodWorks is a locally owned business with Supermarkets in Gisborne & Sunbury together with our warehouse operation in New Gisborne. We are a proud supporter of our local community and have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our company as a Casual Warehouse Assistant at our New Gisborne location.


Applicants must be available between the hours of 6am & 5pm Monday to Saturday, and be prepared to work to a rotating roster in order to meet business needs.
The duties and responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to:


Responsible for their part of the warehouse ensuring stock rotation, date checking and notification of when core lines are running low
Complete accurate order picking
Perform weekly/monthly stock takes in their part of the warehouse
Ongoing monitoring of warehouse stock levels
Responsible for ordering of stock from company suppliers
Receive, sign for and check off all deliveries and ensure accurate pricing of stock
Prepare claims to account for supplier deliveries which are incorrect, broken or damaged
Raise any relevant claims or credits
Markdowns/shrinkage every morning.
Assist with packing away and splitting loads.
Control the movement and return of pallets.
Keep warehouse safe, orderly and clean
Relief delivery driver

Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills and abilities:


Current Victorian driver’s licence and driving experience
Current forklift licence and forklift experience would be advantageous
HR truck licence would be seen as beneficial
Be physically fit to meet demands of the role
A great team player who is adaptable and keen to learn new tasks
Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with internal and external customers
Excellent organisational skills and strong problem solving ability
The ability to operate computing systems and software will be seen as beneficial but not essential
