Job Summary: Newcastle NSW Contract $47.50 an hour Spinifex Recruiting is seeking experienced Plumber to join a government department in Stockton and Shoal Bay NSW. The role is initially contracted for 5 months and offers a fantastic hourly rate of $47.50.

Job Details: The role

The position is to carry out plumbing inspections and maintain plumbing fixtures in the central location of Stockton NSW, and travel to other sites when required.

Key accountabilities

Carry out and complete inspections, repairs, installs, modifications, and maintain plumbing fixtures in heating, water and drainage systems.
Identify electrical, plumbing and safety problems applicable to the installation and takes necessary corrective action.
Perform related clerical duties, and complete related necessary documentation.

It is essential you have:

Minimum 3 years’ experience as a trade qualified Plumber
Must hold a current Driver’s licence.
Qualification as an Advantageous Thermostatic Mixing Valver would be preferred but not essential.
Ability to read construction plans and Blueprints.
Excellent communication skills and the proven ability to converse with a range of stakeholders.
