About the role
We're recruiting for a heritage textiles business that has more than 10,000 products in its range. The business supplies fashionable, quality fabrics to businesses in the retail, homeware, interior design and property industries.
If you're a textile-savvy salesperson with a consultative approach to your work, we want to hear from you!
Reporting to the GM, you'll take over one of the company's most successful territories, selling a huge range of fabrics into trusted retail partners and corporate accounts. You'll be on the road 4-5 days a week, with alternate Fridays spent in Head Office to update systems and catch up with your fellow sales team.
A typical week will include scheduling appointments with accounts, presenting new ranges, making product suggestions and negotiating on product prices and quantities. You'll be given the freedom to work autonomously, managing your own time and building close personal connections with your customers.

Key Functions & Responsibilities:
Present new ranges to customers in the commercial and private sectors (retailers, interior design firms, property, homeware, etc.)
Manage key customer relationships within your territory (NSW, North of Paramatta. Territory includes Northwood, Baulkam Hills).
Manage and meet your own budget.
Conduct regular sales forecasts.
Sell-through analysis.
Role Requirements:
Relevant industry experience (fabric/textiles/similar).
Demonstrable sales experience.
Fantastic interpersonal skills.
Financially astute; good with numbers.
Driver's license.
