Based at Mile End in a new state of the art laboratory Clinpath provides you with the opportunity to become a part of an Australian wide medical testing laboratory network, focused on medical leadership and expert advice. We serve our South Australian medical practitioners, private hospitals and aged care facilities.

About the Opportunity

An opportunity has become available for experienced Technical Assistants to join our Anatomical Pathology team on a casual basis. The position is based at our Mile End laboratory and involves working across all shifts Monday to Friday between the hours of 4am and Midnight. Participation in Saturdays and public holiday rosters may also be required.

Applicants should possess the following:

Attention to detail and excellent time management skills;
Excellent communication skills;
A ‘can do' attitude and a desire to exceed customer service expectations; and
Flexibility to meet the needs of a dynamic and changing work environment and to contribute positively to the team.
Applicants able to demonstrate the following will be held in high regard:

An understanding of Quality Control and NATA accreditation requirements; and
Experience in sectioning, embedding, routine and special staining.
