About The Role
As the TAL for Digital Sales Experience tribe, you will be accountable for attracting and activating customers via digital channels, and work closely with the tribe lead to define and develop sales\origination and activation strategies across channels.
Working in partnership with our ‘Tribe Lead’ for Digital Sales Experience tribe, and keeping the customer experience at the heart of everything you do, you will play a key role in embedding our ‘New Ways of Working’ culture of learning, empowerment, rapid experimentation, adaptability and collaboration. Creating clarity for your team and removing roadblocks that impact their ability to deliver will be critical to success as you drive IT innovation to execute this key pillar of our enterprise IT strategy.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Execute sales campaigns across the end to end digital journey (From external activity through to owned assets such as ANZ.com, IB, IB4B, ANZ App and our branch network).
Optimise our digital channels’ sales and activation processes.
Manage the process from sales target setting through to the development of sales and activation strategies for our proprietary and 3rd party assisted channels’(Retail front line, Commercial front line, Mobile Lenders, Retail and Commercial Brokers.
Report sales campaign performance across all channels (and centralise sales reporting overtime).
Develop and maintain the digital infrastructure and features to support and enhance ANZ.com, Online Applications & Notification Distribution.
About you
As the Technology Area Lead , you will ideally bring the following key attributes, capabilities, and experience:
Extensive experience leading within cross-functional, agile or continuous delivery teams.
Great with people and know how to build and maintain relationships. You’ll be able to facilitate, communicate and negotiate with ease.
Never satisfied with “good enough” – you’re always wanting to push ideas and encourage your peers to do the same.
A resilient personality and comfortable with change - able to overcome setbacks as they occur.

Committed to improving the Security Engineering Culture within ANZ through internal and external speaking, training events, articles and being generally active in the engineering community.
Experience in agile engineering practises
Modern distributed platforms
Security Protocols and Standards (JWT, FIDO)
Federation (SAML, OIDC, OATH)
iOS, Android and other front end technologies
You will also have the following specialised skills:
Experience with one of the major cloud providers (Google Cloud, Azure, AWS) as well as Docker/Kubernetes/Openshift
Experience with continuous integration/delivery. Tooling such as Git/GitHub, Bamboo/Jenkins, Spinnaker, Google Cloud Build, Gradle, NPM/Yarn, SonarQube, etc.
Experience working with Agile, Lean and/or Continuous Delivery approaches
Ability to use open source technologies and tools
