Job Summary: Company Our client has a strong presence in the interiors market with years of expertise. They are a well-respected and highly reputable European owned globally company, with a leaner operation in Australia, who are currently expanding their presence in Melbourne. Working remotely, the main focus of this position is to drive sales revenue, and to manage and grow existing and prospective clients in the architect & builder channel, by influencing, encouraging and ultimately, leading a highly performing state sales team

Job Details:

Duties

• Full P+L responsibility for the VIC region




• Working closely with the Managing Director, you will be championed with introducing and implementing sales strategy across the state, including establishment of aligned KPIs, thereby meeting and exceeding financial targets




• Delivering the best in market information, analysis and tendering for large corporate accounts




• You will assume leadership of a team of well-regarded, Melbourne based, BDMs and Account Managers (4), who you will guide and coach to higher levels of individual performance

Candidate:

• An external sales management background in the building products industry (1-3 years)




• Intimate knowledge of many of the architectural practices, contractors and builders in VIC (3-5 years +)




• Strong organisational, leadership, planning, budgeting and negotiating skills




• A softly softly approach to man-management
