Job Details: MSS Security is currently seeking professional, well-presented and experienced security officers to join us as casual Security Officers working with the Public Transport Authority in Perth, WA.

The role involves conducting foot patrols and providing a physical presence to deter would be offenders as well as to observe and report any suspicious activity to help protect major assets for one of MSS Security’s largest clients.

The role is generally associated with Optus Stadium events which are predominately held on weekends and weekday afternoons and nights. We are looking for staff to start ASAP, so availability over the Christmas period is an essential requirement.

Job Description
As a Special Event Security Officer your primary areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:

Performing static and patrol duties across the Perth train network
Customer service duties such as answering queries from the public, providing directions etc.
Resolving conflicts and disputes where required
Completing incident reports where required
Essential Skills and Experience:

MSS Security has a proud history of supplying dedicated personnel and we welcome applications from those who meet the below criteria:

Current Senior First Aid Certificate
Certificate II in Security Operations
Current WA Driver’s License
Valid and unrestricted working rights
The successful candidates will also have:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including neat and legible hand writing
Advanced conflict and dispute resolution skills and self-control
High standards of presentation and grooming
The ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team environment
Integrity and sound judgement
Ability to patrol and walk for up to 10 hour shifts
