Through market leading, innovative and feature rich software, MediaCP (www.mediacp.net) provides a platform to service and enhance audio and/or video streaming service providers worldwide. Our software enables service providers to sell online radio stations, live video streaming services used for events and much more. We are currently a leading software solution in the industry and have been driving innovation in the streaming space since 2006. Our customers are mostly within US, UK, Brazil, Chile and Spain with a number of customers spread elsewhere through the globe.
We are currently scaling up the operations of the software and business to target enterprise customers as well as tailored solutions for our existing streaming customer base. We are looking for someone who is excited to be a part of this journey and grow with us, as well as bring a strong customer centric sales drive to the business.
About You:
- Self-motivated with ambition/drive to learn and understand the product.
Previous experience in a sales/business development role required.
- Ability to work independently and show tangible sales results.
- Experience working within a small business environment and with global customers is desired.
- Initial 9 hours/week over 3 days with flexible work hours allowing work from home and an opportunity for hours to grow as the role evolves.
- Confident and well presented with strong communication skills and experience conducting business meetings remotely.
- Proven track record consistently meeting sales targets and KPIs to achieve business goals.
- Bilingual in Spanish would be an advantage, but not required.
- Experience in digital software sales desired but not essential, but being someone who can understand and adopt software is.
Your Responsibilities
- Building strategies for securing new business opportunities, preventing churn and improving customer retention.
- Follow up of leads to secure sales through existing channels.
- Active Lead generation by identifying and contacting new opportunities.
- Arranging software demonstration with customers for high value opportunities.
- Engaging customers with lapsed subscriptions or cancellations
- Engaging with customers after sale to maintain an ongoing business relationship.
- Ensuring accurate and complete reporting for all opportunities, contacts, and customer accounts as well as working with the business to implement better tools to accomplish this.
