Job Details: As the Senior Software Engineer with a passion and enthusiasm for software development and technology, your primary focus will be backend Python web development. You will be part of a small agile development team who encourage each other to innovate and support continuous learning with new technologies. The team is located in our Bowen Hills office with modern up-to-date technology and software, onsite parking, an onsite cafe and a subsided gym.

What's the role?

A pivotal senior role within the company's high-profile Brisbane based software development team
You will be working on multi-faceted Django-based CMS platform - which provides Content Authoring, Identity and Subscription features, to name just a few
It's a role which required a high skill-level and aptitude due to the team's remit covering full end-to-end web development and deployment (we have no system admins)
You will be working alongside talented frontend, backend and full-stack developers
Peer code reviews will be part of your normal development cycle, as will the development of unit-tests which will ensure our test coverage remains high
Who are you?

Strong Python language experience, 'Django' is highly desirable
Linux development environment experience
Web development experience
AWS DevOps (or similar cloud-based environment) desirable but not essential
Good collaboration and communication skills
The ability to apply best practices and techniques
Self motivated and requires minimal supervision due to a strong work ethic
