Job Summary: Senior Rail Architect/Rail Project Director – Complex Project Experience Wonderful opportunity for a Senior Rail/Infrastructure Architect to lead a team of people in Melbourne on a significant rail project for an international practice. This is a senior leadership role, within an exciting organisation looking for someone to bring their experience from projects from around the world. This is a role for a great communicator who is looking to use their deep technical skills alongside their design skills and ability to manage teams and stakeholders in a complex environment. Job Details:

Key requirements for this position:

• have a minimum of 15 years' experience in rail and possibly other complex projects


• be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills


• be an effective team leader


• have excellent client-facing skills

The Role

As the Project Director, you will be reporting to the Directors and leading a team of around 20. You will also be developing other projects in the pipeline and developing capacity within the growing practice. Your role will include;

• Client liaison, briefing and general client management


• Leading a team to produce deliverables through all phases of projects


• Other stakeholder liaison


• Development of other projects and opportunities


• Involvement in the strategic growth of the practice

Skills & experience

To be considered for the role, you will require the following;

• Experience in large complex projects in the infrastructure sector


• At least 15 years' experience


• Great communication and organisational skills


• Technical and design skills in the sector
