Job Summary: We are looking to recruit a Senior project lead with electrical HV qualifications and experience, as well as project management experience. Solid high voltage electrical experience and project management is essential for this position. The focus of the position will be on all aspects of project management and leadership, including estimation of costs, application for capital expenditure, procurement of materials and contracts, budget control and reporting, design management, contract and contractor management.
Job Details:This is a FIFO position from Brisbane or Cairns and is for an immediate start or as soon as practically possible.
The team has responsibility for delivery of all electrical projects related to the town and mine electrical reticulation. Projects are handled from early idea initiation, through pre-feasibility to implementation and close-out. Typical projects are High Voltage switch gear replacements, Low Voltage DB replacements and residential power distribution.
The role is a contract role for 3 months initially with view to extend for the right candidate.
You will possess strong leadership skills and be able to lead a team. The ideal candidate would have a positive, can-do mindset, would ideally be accustomed to FIFO lifestyle, and happy to do FIFO to Weipa.
