Job Details:An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Irrigation System Maintainer to join Isaac Regional Council's Landcare and Open Space Department on a permanent full time basis, based in Moranbah. This position is responsible for carrying out irrigation system repairs, maintenance and upgrades at community usage areas including sportsgrounds, parks, open space and cemeteries for Landcare and Open Space Services.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience (5+) years in a similar role with demonstrated knowledge and experience of various irrigation system elements, including knowledge of travelling irrigators, sucker vac machine, pumps and filtration systems. They will also have sound literacy, numeracy and computer skills, a current Blue/White card and a current 'C' class drivers licence. Certification for the operation of plant and equipment, Traffic Controller, and ACDC Chemical Training would be highly regarded.
For this position we offer:
Salary $51,075.92 per annum
Nominally 76 hours per fortnight
RDO's in accordance with Council policy
5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading pro rata
12% super (in accordance with policy)
