About the Role:
We are seeking a Commercial Sales Representative, to develop and grow our brands in Victoria with major residential, hotel and hospitality project clients. Based from our South Melbourne showroom, you will:
• Seek out new business opportunities;
• Develop and grow relationships with key commercial merchants in Melbourne;
• Actively manage project pipeline of current and upcoming opportunities;
• Utilise Cordell and other industry sources, target specific projects and influencers in order to gain specification on projects at all stages of development
• Initiate a structured call plan to relevant targets introducing our brands;
• Develop strong and effective working relationships with key industry specifiers and initiate product presentations / updates on a planned and regular basis;
• Achieve commercial sales targets;
• Report on activity on a weekly basis.
This role will involve travelling to our Sydney head office on a quarterly basis.

About you:
The successful candidate will have:
• Some commercial sales experience with high-end/premium products;
• Demonstrated track record for achieving or exceeding sales targets;
• Excellent negotiating, influencing and communication skills;
• Demonstrated track record for building strong customer relationships;
• Industry experience would also be highly regarded, but not essential.
The ideal candidate will have commercial / project experience from a merchant or wholesale environment, selling to builders, plumbers or developers, or will have experience working on specification with architects and designers.
