Job Summary: Identify opportunities, propose and implement sales and market initiatives to increase existing business revenue, identify and analyze local market requirements by soliciting client feedback and by maintaining strong industry contacts/network

Job Details: Qualifications & Requirements:
- Applicant must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Bachelor’s Degree holder (Marketing, Tourism, Management or Business Studies would be an advantage) with 3-5 years Airline or Travel Agency experience or General Diploma (Marketing, Tourism, Management or Business Studies would be an advantage) with 5 years Airline or Travel Agency experience
- Proactive & multitasking capabilities, excellent analytical & communication skills, ability to work independently and accommodate changing work priorities
- Able to drive the business from frontline (Walk the street and meet agents/customers) and have strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and adaptable to all culture and ethnic group.
- Should possess good Travel Trade & airline market knowledge in their territory
- Proficiency in Proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point

Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities, propose and implement sales and market initiatives to increase existing business revenue
- Meet or exceed assigned sales revenue targets
- Set up sales call plans, daily, weekly & monthly reporting mechanisms and ensure that the appropriate sales and marketing activities are carried out in support of the targets.
- Identify and analyze local market requirements by soliciting client feedback and by maintaining strong industry contacts/network
- Maximize face-to-face client sales time by arranging and facilitating support resources in an effective manner to drive client retention.
Organize and support travel agents participation at individual or joint airline events, seminars, road-shows and functions
- Manage and monitor sales performances of the network, agents and sales representatives.
- Develop & enhance relationships with travel trade, corporate, country level heads, customers and government departments to grow the airline brand and market presence.
- Work with account management and refund team for all administrative and financial activities involving clients including timely receipt of tax invoice, incentives and refund
