Job Summary: - Leading Australian IT Distributor - Training and support provided - Ringwood location, on-site parking Multimedia Technology is a National Distributor who has been servicing IT and AV channels for almost 30 years. Established in 1990, we supply resellers with products from many well-known vendors including: BenQ, NEC, Panasonic, Samsung, Synology and Cisco.

Job Details: The National Sales team is growing and we have a great opportunity available for a dynamic and enthusiastic person to join our Melbourne Head Office as a Sales Consultant.

This role would suit someone with a customer service/sales background who has a passion for consumer electronics or AV products.

Utilising your previous sales experience, you will be responsible for developing ongoing business with our existing resellers and pro-actively identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities of the position:

- Arranging quotations and assisting customers with sales inquiries
- Proactively calling resellers; qualifying and identifying business opportunities
- Identify and manage low yield customers into a more profitable trading relationship including calling customers with dormant accounts
- Accurate and timely processing of customer sales orders
- Meeting and exceeding realistic KPI's and sales targets
- Visiting customers where required

Skills and experience required:

- A confident phone manner
- The ability to relate to customers from a diverse background of environments – relationship building is key to this role
- Energetic, enthusiastic and a desire to be successful in sales
- Confidence in dealing with people both face to face and on the phone
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Problem solving and negotiation skills

The successful candidate will receive a base salary and be offered an industry related commission scheme. We will only consider candidates who are based in Australia and are able to work in Australia on an ongoing basis.
