This Mid Tier Civil Contractor has a strong reputation throughout NSW for their experience in the Civil Construction market. With a large team of staff, they currently have a number of projects on the ground and are looking for a Civil Supervisor to oversee a new projects in NSW.
This organisation focuses on RMS projects, demolition, bulk earth works, and construction. A forward thinking working environment with a small HR department and rapid growth strategy across the organisation. The projects:
With extensive experience in managing projects in Sydney, this contractor has built up excellent relationships with both the public and private sector. Typical projects range from $1m to $30m.
The role:
We are seeking to appoint an experienced Site Supervisor to join our growing team. The role will see you accountable for the management and supervision of a range of $1m - $30m RMS projects within the civil construction industry, to ensure their construction in accordance to relevant standards and legislative requirements, and delivery on time and budget. Acting as a point of contact between site personnel and office-based project teams, the role would be well suited to someone with strong people management, communication and organisational skills.
The skills required:
A minimum of 5 years experience working as a Foreman/Supervisor in Australia based on civil infrastructure projects with a heavy emphasis on earthworks, drainage, demolition, RMS road works, street scaping, subdivisons etc.
A thorough understanding of the civil works
An in depth knowledge of Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental
A proven track record of mentoring and helping junior members of staff (leading hand etc)
A good working knowledge of delivering projects to time and budget, forward planning and an ability to troubleshoot where needed
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
