Our client Is a locally based Engineering firm specializing in Mining, Construction, Petrochemical & Sugar Industries. Employing a wide range of trade and skilled individuals, this is a fantastic opportunity to secure ongoing works with a reputable company based locally In Mackay.

Your new role
We are seeking a boilermaker to work on a relief basis in a Mackay Engineering workshop. This position will see you usually working on a Monday and a Friday (2 days per week). You will be working on a variety of heavy mining equipment based on your skill set.

The ideal candidate for this role would be someone who has worked on Heavy Mining Equipment previously and is available for work on a relief basis.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful for this role you will have the following qualifications/skills:

Trade Qualified Boilermaker
Construction White Card
High Risk Forklift or EWP is desirable
Current Open C Class Licence
Ability to work autonomously
Ability to pass an overhead 4G weld test

You will be required to complete a Drug & Alcohol test prior to commencing.
