Job Summary: The purpose of the Relationship Manager is to retain and grow a portfolio of profitable business customers in a defined geographical market, in pursuit of specific sales, service, growth and opportunity targets.
Job Details:· Source and relationship manage quality new to bank business to grow Suncorp’s business lending portfolio.
· Design, implement and monitor an annual portfolio business and/or agribusiness marketing and business plan to achieve desired portfolio growth.
· Maximise the visibility of Suncorp brand throughout the region by actively and positively promoting the company at public events. Network and liaise with tier 1 customers in conjunction with Regional Manager to optimise and maintain relationships and promote customer retention.
· Manage Suncorp’s relationship with customers within your assigned portfolio tier (our portfolios are tiered as small business lending sub $1M, agribusiness & commercial lending $1M-$10M or premium commercial lending $10M plus).
· Achieve audit and compliance objectives in line with corporate policies and procedures, as well as complying with industry code of practice and legislative requirements.
· Ability to identify an acceptable level of lending risk, in line with Suncorp’s risk appetite statement, and to maximise profit from that transaction.
