Job Summary: Working closely with our berry growers you will be using your basic knowledge of fresh produce quality and food safety compliance to help achieve successful certification. Providing hands-on support through regular farm visits, you will be conducting mock audits as well as preparing basic documents and materials to assist in certification activities. In addition you will also be carrying out the following key activities: Inspecting finished products and performing regular tests inc. post-pack and shelf-life testing as well as QC sampling Preparing audit readiness and action plans and providing regular tracking reports Preparing basic grower resource materials for audit purposes Disseminating basic guidelines to growers in food hygiene and farm sanitation,as well as pecticides and chemicals Identifying product defects and preparing reports
