Job Summary: Urgently hiring South Yarra VIC Casual

Job Details: J&L Meats has the opportunity for a fully qualified butcher to join our team as a Christmas Casual at our family owned butcher shop located South Yarra at the Prahran Market. This position would suit an individual who is semi retired qualified Butcher. For the successful candidate ongoing work may be available in 2020.

We pride ourselves on supplying the highest quality products and customer services.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and dedicated butcher. An Individual who loves working in a team and is passionate about their trade and customer service.

The role:

Cutting and prepping all meat products
Preparing all types of meat for sale, including cutting, mincing and trimming.
Setting up window displays/Merchandising
Confident in cutting and stacking trays to a high-quality standard
The Successful applicant:

Excellent knife skills
Minimum 3 years of working as a Butcher
Butcher shop experience
Must have a positive attitude
Neat and tidy appearance
Ability to follow procedures and take direction as required
Reliability and high degree of integrity
Weekend availability and flexibility with hours highly desirable
