Our company provides high precision wholesale laser cutting, CNC folding, CNC routing and fabrication services to a diverse range of clients including Sheetmetal fabrication, signage fabrication, bespoke components and brackets, architectural products and much more.

Job Details:

The Production Floor Supervisor will be an enthusiastic and committed individual who is a specialist in Sheetmetal fabrication. You will be predominately “hands on” and lead by example to motivate our team to achieve the highest standards for our clients. We are seeking a person who is familiar with computer aided design who can work on the tools and be responsible for coordinating and supervising the manufacturing process. This position will be challenging but well supported, with accountability for the on-time and on-budget delivery of consistent, customer focused solutions.

Responsibilities:

Operating CNC laser cutting and folding machines.
Scheduling works to ensure efficient use of staff and resources.
Supervising and motivating the workshop team to ensure projects are produced on time and to quality standards.
Workshop set up and ensuring tooling and equipment is maintained for production.
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Skills and attributes:

Previous supervisory experience in a Sheetmetal fabrication environment will be highly regarded, however training will be offered to candidates who demonstrate the right attitude and work ethic.
Solid understanding of Sheetmetal manufacturing processes and programming.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise and multitask.
Ability to develop and maintain productive working relationships and to lead and motivate staff.
Lateral thinking and problem solving abilities.
Attention to detail.
Good written and oral communication.
Familiar with AP100, Solidworks, AutoCAD, Illustrator and/or similar production software.
Experience in some, if not all, of the following: CNC laser cutting and folding machines; metal punching, turning, pressing; welding; finishing and assembly.
Ability to operate a forklift.
Qualifications / Requirements:

Suitable Trade qualification.
Driver’s License.
Forklift License.
Salary range will be negotiated based on candidate’s experience.
