Certificate III or Certificate IV in plumbing and at least 3 years of full-time work experience

Your main duties will be:

Carrying out full installation of hot and cold-water lines and systems for commercial and residential properties including the provision and usage of all necessary equipment for these services to be installed and operated correctly
Design and installation of plumbing lines for sanitary and water supply systems including all pipes, connectors and other fittings to these lines and joints. In addition, running and connecting discharge and sewerage pipes to the appropriate services.
Installation of fire protection systems that are water based in particular fire hydrants and hose reels.
Fabrication and installation and connection of traps to waste lines taking waste to soil stacks and waste stacks for commercial and residential properties.
Utilising drawings, specifications and also blueprints of commercial and residential properties to ascertain the correct and desired layout for installation of new plumbing systems. From these plans, determining the appropriate pipes and other materials to carry out these projects.
Assembly and proper installation of mechanical services plant equipment as small-bore heating systems.
Installation and connection of sewerage and effluent plumbing pipework and connections and traps and disposal systems to the appropriate services and existing lines for residential and commercial properties.
Installation of below ground drainage systems and any associated ground support systems required, for commercial and residential properties. As well as connection to the existing services.
Installation and maintenance of gas appliances, flues and pressure regulating devices for commercial and residential properties.
Fabrication and installation of metal roofing sheets and flashing, as well as rainwater goods and down pipes and rain water heads and hoppers for commercial and residential properties.
Other related duties as instructed by the owner
