Job Summary: Perth WA Casual

Job Details: Programmed Skilled Workforce is currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitter's & Heavy Diesel Mechanic's for work based in the Bassendean Area.

Successful applicants will have previous fitting experience on mobile plant, with a strong work ethic and demonstrated commitment to safety.

About the Role

Mechanical fitting of rolling stock and sub-assemblies
Conducting over hauls, installations and fit outs of mechanical equipment
Locomotive engine rebuilds. GE or EMD engines.
Component rebuilds, pumps, turbochargers, power packs and compressors
Reading and interpreting of drawings and specifications
Good attention to detail
Strong commitment to safety and maintaining a safe work environment
Skills, Experience and Attributes

Australian Recognized Trade Certificate
Previous work experience on locomotive equipment is desirable
Previous experience working on Komatsu equipment is desirable
Current Nationally Accredited Working at Heights
Current Nationally Accredited Confined Space
High risk qualifications are highly regarded (Forklift, Elevated work platform, Dogging)
Ability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
Right to Work in Australia
Current Australian Drivers' Licence and Reliable Vehicle
