Job Details:Main duties and tasks: ·
Plan and direct all food preparation and cooking. ·
Propose and create new items on the menu. ·
Recruit and train kitchen staff. ·
Supervise and monitor kitchen staff at all times to ensure consistent quality of food served.
Check every plate before service to customers. Rectify presentation if necessary.
Prepare and cook the food to expected high standard.
Arrange for kitchen equipment maintenance, purchases and repairs·
Order all food supplies keeping in mind budget requirements and reduction of waste.
