Job Details: An opportunity for Parks and Gardens laborer that wants to work within local government.

In this role you will:

Operate small plant and equipment such as ride on mowers and horticulture maintenance equipment
Maintain complete and accurate records of all work undertaken
Undertake maintenance works including parks, street verges, gardens, sports grounds, littler removal and weed control.
Mow and cut edges with precision and to a high standard of presentation
Spray pesticides and or herbicides to reduce and control pests and irregular turf growth
Endeavour to meet maintenance targets in accordance with timeframes provided
To be successful for this role you will:

Horticultural Qualifications
OR Relevant experience in gardening/landscaping
Have a current drivers license
Laboring experience
Have a Chemcert certificate (ideal not essential)
Have a Yellow Ticket for Traffic Control (ideal not essential)
Demonstrated experience in a similar role
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ongoing assignment
