Job Details: The Monash Alfred Psychiatry Research Centre and Epworth Centre for Innovation in Mental Health is seeking healthy adults between the ages of 18 and 45 to help us investigate the influence of gentle brain stimulation on thinking skills. We are testing whether gentle electrical stimulation can improve people’s attention, reaction time, memory and problem solving

Participation will involve visiting our research centre in Prahran for two research sessions, each one taking approximately two and a half hours. You will be provided with compensation towards your time and travel costs.

Together we will complete an interview, do some computerised activities, take a recording of your brain waves and give you a short session of gentle non-invasive brain stimulation. Stimulation is safe and not painful. It is given while you are awake and alert and activates only a small area of cells on the surface of your brain. It will not have any lasting impact on your brain activity.
