Job Summary: We are looking for a casual overnight receptionist to run the front desk at our backpacker hostel located in Melbourne CBD between the hours of 11pm - 7am every Saturday and Sunday night.

Job Details: You will be:

Highly motivated and enthusiastic
Responsible and trustworthy
Able to keep up in a busy, fast-paced, problem-solving environment
Able and willing to work by yourself and keep yourself busy
Prepared to work the 11pm - 7am night shift every Saturday and Sunday night
Seeking work for a minimum of 6+ months

You will have:

The ability to respectfully communicate with people from a non-English speaking background and be sensitive to cultural differences
The ability to contribute to the hostel's friendly and cheerful atmosphere
Proficient working knowledge of Windows based computer applications
The ability to perform well under pressure
The skills and confidence to diffuse challenging situations as they arise
