Job Summary: Alice Springs NT AECOM has an opportunity for an Operations Security Manager at its Alice Springs, Australia project location. The Operations Security Manager (OSM) is the Physical focal point for the contract to the Joint Security Staff. As the ICD 705 SME, the OSM will act as an intermediary between OASIS, construction and JSS regarding physical accreditation, or other Security issues. Provides technical oversight of the Security Operations Center.

Job Details: Essential Responsibilities:
+ Provide review, oversight, coordination and submittal of Construction Security Plans.

+ Provides direct support to JSS GPOC for changes to the SCIF(s) with impacts to the Physical Accreditation of the area, including access, penetrations, sound attenuation, etc. Should have working knowledge of TEMPEST

+ Manage the technical area lock and key accountability program. Understand key ways, cores, etc. ability to work with the KEYWATCHER secure key management system.

+ Be able to communicate orally or in writing PHYSEC issues to USG/GOA Senior Leadership

+ As a GSA Safe & Vault Technician, (locksmith desired) oversee the repair or modernization of any GSA Safe or Vault within the tech are. Return said safes to a certifiable condition when required.

+ Brief Senior USG or GOA officials on topics related to above.

+ Any other reasonable duties as requested

+ Act as a Deputy OASIS Site Security Manager in the absence of the SSM, carry out duties as their delegate.9. Mange the real-time Crime and Incident Metrics databases, provide LE Sensitive monthly reporting to JSS.

+ Responsible of entering Purchase Requests via SAP. Maintain material budget.

+ Responsible for time card approvals for Australian employees

Minimum Requirements

+ Must be a US Citizen.

+ Active, fully adjudicated TS security clearance.

+ Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, work without daily supervision.

+ 3 to 5 years’ experience in physical security (ICD-705), and all aspects of physical security.

+ Understand Risk Management Concepts.

+ Ability to identify applicable metrics, and capture them for Senior Leadership.\\

+ BA/BS in related field, with 5+ years’ experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience or minimum of 10 years’ experience in disaster and emergency planning

+ Leadership experience, understanding de-escalation techniques, promoting team work, motivating employees.

Preferred Qualifications

+ TS/SCI w/poly is preferred.

+ Locksmith training

+ BCPS Safety Trained Supervisor Certification

+ Security + certification

+ ASIS International Physical security Professional (PSP)

+ Training in appropriate safety procedures (i.e. Confined Space Entry, Working at Heights, Personal Protective Equipment, Lockout/Tag out, HAZMAT, Working in Trenches, Working with Heavy Machinery etc.)
