Job Details: About Our Client
Currently partnered with a number of organisations requiring Mining Engineers to provide accurate and effective mine planning solutions for upcoming opportunities. Currently looking to assist with several upcoming contracts varying from 3 - 12 months. On most sites you will report to the senior leader in the Technical Service team and working in a small to medium sized team of Mining Engineers to deliver short to mid-term mine planning.

Job Description
Ensuring the delivery of accurate designs that meet the needs of the operational departments;
Proven scheduling experience
Providing technical support and input into optimisation and continuous improvement opportunities and frameworks;
Production & Environmental reporting/monitoring
Providing support to the Technical Services team onsite
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have strong experience in a similar role, and will possess the following traits:

Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or other relevant tertiary qualification
Open Cut Mining experience
Proven experience in cost efficient mine planning and scheduling;
Working knowledge of mining software programs;
Experience in Draglines, Drill and Blast or Truck and shovel operations would be ideal
Proven safety focus
