Job Details: What will your typical day look like?

There is no typical day in this role which is perfect for someone who loves variety! With the opportunity to autonomously own projects, you will support the Deloitte Financial Advisory business, with risk advice around a broad range of financial advisory services including M&A, restructuring, economics and capital optimisation. Additionally you will also help CFO’s create better business performance through managing the risk involved in finance transformation, turnaround, business modelling and real estate advisory services. You will collaborate with the business daily, supporting stakeholders across the business at all levels to make commercially sound decisions around potential risk.

This will see you involved in providing practical and considered quality and risk related advice to assist the business achieve its strategic priorities, advising engagement teams in their day-to-day interactions with their clients and supporting our Financial Advisory teams to bring new products and ways of doing business to the market. In engaging with the business and building strong working relationships, you will have the opportunity to build both your own individual reputation and that of the team as a trusted provider of risk advice.

Our team partners with our Financial Advisory practitioners to embed a culture that focuses on quality and raises risk awareness. Importantly, our team contributes to protecting and enhancing the Deloitte brand by offering strategic business risk identification & mitigation and commercial solutions to our national Financial Advisory practitioners who are dedicated to helping our clients solve their most complex problems.

You will be someone with:
4-5 years’ experience in a similar quality and risk role, a client facing role with a professional services firm and looking for a change or a risk based role within the financial services industry.A lateral thinking style and a love of problem solving.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience in supporting business units to engage with their clients in a way which protects the firm’s brand.
