About our team
GrainCorp connects more than 10,000 grain growers with local and international customers via Australia’s largest silo network, with a storage capacity of over 20 million tonnes, seven bulk port elevators and two specialty port terminals. Further diversification through acquisition led to the establishment of GrainCorp Oils in 2012. We are proud to be the largest integrated edible oils business in Australia and New Zealand, producing a wide range of quality food ingredients and animal feed products including specialist ingredients for infant nutrition.
About the role
The Learning & Capability Specialist provides breakthrough digital solutions that support learning, organisation development and transformation through the effective utilisation of digital tools that support critical knowledge transfer and enhanced capability.
Primarily focusing on developing digital, bite size, scalable and mobilised learning solutions, this position is also expected to provide proactive consultation across GrainCorp HR, mobilising key people events for increased awareness and buy in.
Additionally, you’ll also be responsible for the development of more traditional learning programs and events as appropriate.
A key component of the role is to remain up to date with beneficial technologies and how these will support the HR people and transformation plan.
About your experience
Our ideal candidate has strong learning & development and project management experience along with proven experience of developing digital learning solutions using various technologies. This should be underpinned by relevant tertiary qualifications including Certificate IV Training & Assessment at a minimum.
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, are required with the ability to influence stakeholders across the organisation.
Additionally, you should have:
Extensive experience in digital design and content development / writing – ability to write scripts, storyboards, exercises and knowledge checks
A comprehensive understanding of the digital build process from wireframe, through beta to production
Experience in developing blended learning and assessment materials for various modalities
A thorough understanding of adult learning principles and preferences
Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines
Ability to work within a fast-paced environment whilst balancing competing interests
Strong team spirit with positive and flexible attitude
Ability to deliver innovative solutions to increase capability
Experience working with learning management systems and other workplace platforms (SharePoint, etc.).
Preferred candidates will be required to provide proof of working rights and suitable professional referees.
