As an integral member of the IT services team, your primary responsibility will be to ensure Stratco’s operational requirements are enabled through reliable and well supported technology platforms.


Key responsibilities:

Provide exceptional customer service in person, via phone, email and service desk system
Resolve service desk issues including troubleshooting hardware and software issues
Processing month-end, reporting requests & supporting data changes in ERP system
Desktop, network and applications support
Incident, problem and service request management
Release management
Liaising with third party vendors
Develop checklists for typical problems, recommend procedure & controls for prevention
Adherence to Stratco's Safety and other internal policies and procedures
Travel to our sites at times may be required
Skills, Experience & Attributes:

Bachelor Degree in IT or relevant experience
A passion to deliver outstanding customer service
Strong intellectual capacity, communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively
Two to five years’ experience delivering IT support services for a national or multi-national organisation, preferred
Possess excellent problem solving skills
IBM Mainframe experience desirable
Microsoft Office 2007 to 2019
Microsoft Office 365
Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10
Windows Server 2008, 2012 and 2016
Remote desktop support
Active Directory and Exchange Level 1 & 2
Patch application and testing
Printer / peripheral device troubleshooting
TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP Level 1 & 2
Remote support for handheld mobile computers, smartphones and tablets
Experience in Structured Query Language (SQL)
