Infrastructure Specialist
Reports to: IT Manager, ANZ
Position Location: Scoresby, Melbourne
How you'll make an impact:
You will provide excellent IT infrastructure support for the ANZ business by ensuring that networks, servers and systems are available at all times during business hours. Working with regional colleagues, you will plan and implement hardware replacements as well as take the lead locally on global IT infrastructure projects,
What will you do?
Drive IT Support excellence for ANZ business for all their infrastructure needs.
Manage the support of 60 servers and 1000 staff across 22 sites
Manage the configuration, installation, and upgrades of Servers, Systems and Network Links
Manage daily server backups with 100% reliability and ensure client computers have appropriate backup in place
Develop, plan and implement software and hardware upgrades
Ensure appropriate system maintenance is performed to allow 100% uptime
Plan hardware refresh and vendor support & maintenance is up to date
Ensure servers / client computers are patched with critical updates.
Helpdesk Management - Manage the ServiceNow ANZ Support queue ensuring SLA are met to 100%
Build relationships with key functional internal customers and focus on improving the customer experience
Work with regional and global teams to continuously improve consistency of support and service delivery
Provide equipment and systems are delivered on time for new hires and give training for new staff
How will you get here?
Education:
Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or related field
ITIL Foundation qualifications
Experience:
High level of problem solving ability and attention to detail
A strong customer focus with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement
An ability to work autonomously, while maintaining responsibility for own performance
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to liaise with staff at different levels of the business
Analytical ability, skilled at manipulating data in excel
Willingness to work outside of business hours where necessary
Superior skills with Microsoft Office products
VMWare, EMC SAN, Citrix, SharePoint, SQL, ServiceNow, Office 365, SCCM, Symantec Antivirus, AWS
Experience in Project Management
Experience in managing a helpdesk system and team to meet SLAs
Experience in Network / System administration across a wide area network
Experience in working for a global organisation an advantage
Experience in AWS / Azure Cloud Computing an advantage
