Job Details: RBA’s Information Technology Department is responsible for transforming and developing the core IT functions that support the Reserve Bank’s policy, operational and corporate objectives. The IT Department prides itself on setting new benchmarks in technology leadership.

We are currently looking for an IT Desktop Support Administrator to provide administrative support in desktop equipment procurement and leasing, including the co-ordination of the end-to-end computer hardware lifecycle. This role would be suitable for someone looking to grow their IT career in a supportive and dynamic IT team environment.

As part of the team you will:

Conduct the administrative activities to maintain the lifecycle of desktop leased hardware, including the asset management and reporting of assets
Ensure all assets are tracked in the Asset Management system
Work closely with business stakeholders to plan and allocate computing assets
Follow corporate change control, security procedures and methodologies
Assist in the liaison and direction of vendors to facilitate fault resolution and effective use of products
Look for opportunities to improve processes
Contribute to the delivery of new IT services
The successful applicant will have the following skills and capability:

Demonstrated experience in maintaining IT hardware asset equipment
Sound knowledge of end user technologies such as Windows and Microsoft office to assist in support of these products
Great customer liaison and communication skills
