Job Details: Injury Coder
The role:

Support the CTP claim process, by reviewing, analysing, interpreting and accurately classifying injuries using the Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS) 2005 ed. system in accordance with legislative requirements
Provide excellent service, support and advice to all relevant parties
Available to assist with other all other functions and duties within broader team, as directed
To be successful, you will need:

Bachelor of Health Science (Majoring in Health Information Management) or allied health qualification
Excellent analytical skills including the ability to develop solutions and courses of action by identifying key issues and determining cause-effect relationships
Exceptional attention to detail
Superior written & verbal communication skills
Strong time management skill and ability to prioritise.
Ability to be flexible, learn quickly, and adapt easily within a dynamic work environment
Proficient keyboard skills and knowledge in Microsoft Office applications
Experience in a medical coding role or with a Personal Injury Insurer highly desirable
