Job Summary:
Requirements:
Degree or diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or similar
Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment
3 years in an HSEQ
Site based HSEQ experience
Demonstrated understanding and application or relevant legislation
Job Details:
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake risk assessments across all areas of the business and coordinate implementation of control measures
Develop and facilitate OHS training as requires
Be based on the civil site to ensure safety processes are being implemented
OHS reporting
Contribute to optimal business performance through the review, development, implementation and maintenance of the safety management system
Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure consistent compliance within the operation
Act in a manner that seeks to enhance the safety culture
Ensure that the business can operate with confidence accounting for risk by assisting in the coordination and maintenance of the site risk management function, including completion of reviews in a timely manner
Assisting the site HSEQ Manager, helping with some aspects of admin / inductions
6 days per week 10 hour day
