Hours/Period of Appointment
Permanent, part time, shift work (fully rotational) working 24 hours per fortnight to commence as soon as possible. Notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant.


Duties
As part of a multi-disciplinary health care team the occupant of this position will perform a range of duties involving the provision of support to patients with daily living requirements, undertake general cleaning of unit and assisting centre staff with meal distribution.


Essential Requirements
The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:
1. Conviction checks in the following areas:
a) Crimes of Violence
b) Sex Related Offences
c) Serious Drug Offences
d) Crimes involving dishonesty

2. Identification check

3. Disciplinary action in previous employment check.

Desirable Requirements
Certificate Level III in Aged Care.
