About the role

With a reputable and aspirational retail brand, our client requires an exceptionally talented Head of Marketing who will be given the opportunity to act commercially and drive the business in line with company values and its core service philosophies. As a member of the Executive Management Team, this role is responsible for delivering profitable returns to stakeholders by delivering exceptional marketing programs that achieve growth in sales and customer traffic. Marketing responsibilities include strategy, research, brand and channel management (including digital), PR, e-commerce and new product development.

Duties

• Managing the development and execution of business plans to meet strategy including research, product development, above and below the line communication


• Delivery against key performance targets including profit, market share and brand health measures


• Manage a vast array of stakeholder groups, both internal and external and achieve alignment of marketing vision and strategy across the group.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 10 years blue chip consumer destination marketing experience ideally gained from retail or QSR franchise environment


• Tertiary qualified in Business discipline, post-grad highly regarded


• Previous executive leadership experience and influencing senior stakeholders


• Previous success in managing, coaching and motivating teams
