Hays Maintenance and Grounds team currently seeking an all-rounder Handyman to commence on a temporary contract at a prestigious private school in Melbourne’s inner suburbs.

Your new role
As a Handyman you will be required to use your trade background to assist with all preventative and reactive maintenance works around the school in a variety of duties such as the below:

Plastering/Patching
Tiling
Adhoc Duties
Basic Carpentry
Basic Gardening Duties & Grounds Maintenance
Doors & Furniture Maintenance

What you'll need to succeed
Working with children’s check
Valid White Card
Supporting References
Car (advantageous)
Highly developed written and verbal skills
Knowledge and appreciation of OH&S
Exceptional Maintenance/Handyperson skills
Well presented with good communication and inter-personal skills
