Job Details: We have an opportunity for an experienced Handyperson / Painter to join the team, reporting to the Maintenance Manager. This varied role requires you to maintain the building, plant & equipment, fixtures and fittings throughout the Hotel to the required standard. You will ensure a pleasant and safe environment for all guests, visitors and employees.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
Undertaking general repairs, painting and maintenance as well as preventative maintenance programs throughout the Hotel.
Servicing of plant and general equipment as directed.
Ensuring all painted areas are maintained and in good order.
Performing duties relevant to experience and trade as applicable and also perform other maintenance related tasks as required.
Assisting other team members in the completion of their duties.
The successful applicant will have:
Previous experience in a similar role or the ability to demonstrate skills required to be successful in this role
The ability to work both unsupervised and in a team environment
Attention to detail
Excellent customer service skills including fluent written and spoken English
This role requires rostered shifts which include 8am – 4pm, 1pm – 8pm and weekend work on a rotational basis.
