The Role:

The Test Analyst is responsible for accurate interpretation of functional specifications, system enhancement designs to prepare test strategies, test cases and test scripts, following through to completion by conditioning test data and test execution. A Test Analyst needs to be able to work in a fast pace environment with other members of the quality assurance team, technical writers, systems programmers and software development managers to achieve individual and team objectives by set deadlines

You’ll be trained in Test Analyst competencies to support the software development lifecycle:

Develop a detailed understanding of the system from both a technical and business perspective sufficient enough to undertake test planning, estimation and test execution
Review and comprehend business requirements and functional specifications to develop test strategies.
Develop, maintain, upgrade Manual and Automated test scripts, utilities, simulators, data sets and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plans

What you bring:

Whilst previous corporate experience is not required, we are looking for skills that will enable the successful applicants to fit in with a dynamic driven team:

Bachelor of Computer Science, Tertiary qualifications in a business or IT discipline
Excellent written and verbal skills are a plus
Strong Analysis, Problem solving and ownership
Strong attention to detail
Client Focus
Excellent time management skills
Ability to work both on team and individual projects
Can work in a large fast pace team environment.
Able to work on several tasks concurrently, prioritising according to business requirements
