Carers Victoria is continuing to evolve, with an exciting opportunity for a passionate and skilled individual to become part of the Executive team, in the role of General Manager – Partnerships & Business Development.
Carers Victoria is the state-wide voice for family carers, representing and providing support to carers in Victoria. For over 25 years Carers Victoria has been working to ensure hardworking carers are supported in their daily lives and aim to improve carers health, wellbeing, resilience, and financial security. Carers Victoria support for carers extends to connecting them to a wide range of services, including counselling, funding support, respite, education, and training.
The General Manager – Partnerships & Business Development will have direct responsibility for the development of Carers Victoria’s strategic approach to financial sustainability, through being accountable for retaining key commercial and contractual relationships. The position will oversee commercial partnerships, community, corporate and local government grants.
In addition to closing deals relating to fundraising, corporate sponsorship, and partnerships; the role is also accountable for exploring and testing diversification of revenue, including; business cases, tender coordination and responses.
This role will require:
Experience in management of government, philanthropic and commercial contracts.
Knowledge of Government structure and of Health and Human Services, Social Services and Community Services sectors.
Demonstrated history of successful collaboration and consultation around commercial operations and/or projects.
