Fumigate All Hours (NSW) is a small family company, looking to hire fumigators and treatment specialists to join our existing team. We are willing to provide full training and licensing to the successful applicants.

Essential Criteria:
• NSW Drivers Licence.
• Physically fit.
• Ability to follow instructions, common sense and a can-do approach.
• Must be a team player with honesty and integrity.
• Reliable and must be available for overtime (incl weekends).
• Clean shaven and ability to work in a fully enclosed mask.
• Tech/app savvy and strong communications and attention to detail.
• Familiarity and competency with basic formulations and maths equations.

Desirable Criteria:
• Fumigation License.
• Forklift License.
• Approved Arrangement # (Approved Person) with Department of Agriculture.
• Previous experience in fumigation and/or other biosecurity treatments.
• Current First Aid Qualification.

Description

This role will see you work with at least one team-mate per job and travel between our client sites, predominately in the Port Botany/Banksmeadow area, with some clientele in the outer western suburbs.

You will be providing biosecurity fumigation (containers, sheeted stacks and/or chambers) of imported goods and/or goods being exported. All treatments must be carried out meeting all relevant requirements and procedures, importantly all aspects of Safe Work, Australian Wood Packaging Scheme, Australian Standards and Dept of Agriculture as well as individual depot requirements.

You will also be interacting with clients and responsible for all associated paperwork (intercompany and government), so attention to detail is a must. General maintenance and stock management and initiative in reporting issues to the supervisor or our Managing Director is also part of the role.

Please note, a 6month probation period applies and there will be pre-employment medical and background checks, as well as medical and blood tests throughout employment, for the successful applicants. Salary is commensurate with Pest Control Industry Award, with respective allowances (ie: Fumigation Depot Allowance) and paid overtime.
