Job Summary: Urgently hiring Rocklea QLD Contract

Job Details: We are a fast growing domestic and commercial importer and distributor servicing Sydney Metro. As the business is scaling up its operation, we are expecting a number of talents to join our team on Warehousing, Furniture Assembly, and Truck Delivery and Assembly operations. Duties may also include: delivery, assembly, installation, repair and service of warranty and non-warranty office/domestic furniture and appliance.

Storeman Primary Duties (2-3 Days):

Operating Forklift for general warehousing work, including: receiving deliveries, picking orders, assist client pick ups, loading delivery vehicle
Unloading Containers
Arranging General Warehousing set up
General Cleaning

Delivery Driver Primary Duties: (2-3 Days):

Audit Loading Prior to loading for delivery
Load/unload order from delivery vehicle
Assemble Flat Pack Furniture according to order requirement
Wrapping assembled products in a protective manner

Ability to work under short lead-times and deadlines
Demonstrated competence in writing installation project and problem reports
Ability to manage customer relationships during the installation process
Basic computer skills
Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form
Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
A minimum of one year experience in working as a contract furniture installer with additional experience desired in installing several contract furniture systems (i.e. Hayworth, Herman Miller, Steelcase, etc.)
Must be experienced in using hand and electrical tools to assemble furniture.
Be at least 25 years of age; can read and speak the English language sufficient to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.
Prior experience with hand truck/dolly type equipment.
On-the-job training for pallet jack and OHS training for stand-up lift is required.
Minimum 1 years experience on truck delivery around Sydney metro - Company Truck is 4.5 Ton Car Licence Truck
Flexibile on travel - Monthly Inter state Trip for delivery and stock refill by truck
Experience on removalist industry will be a preferable, but not a must
