Our client is looking for experienced Fitters & Welders for their Smithfield premises. Joining a team of passionate automotive experts, you will be provided with full training, along with company benefits such as Monthly team BBQ’s and early finish on Fridays.
The company specialize in remodelling, servicing and maintaining petrol tankers.
To be considered for this role, you will:
Be trade qualified as a fitter / welder
Be able to read and fabricate from engineering drawings
Be able to problem solve, and think outside the square
Have attention to detail and have a history of quality workmanship
Being able to work under pressure of a demanding environment and meet deadlines
Be able to work at times in cramped and awkward positions
The ideal candidate would also have some of the following desirable attributes:
Preferably have previous experience as a fitter working on heavy vehicles
Must have own hand tools with tool box
Have previous experience with aluminium fabrication
Have a practical knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
Confined space Certification (we will train/provide license for ideal candidate).
Working at heights certification (we will train/provide license for ideal candidate).
