Job Summary: We are currently looking to engage an experienced Fitter Armament for Darwin NT. This is a varied role, and would you you working on trade related tasks associated with the maintenance and repair of vehicles, plant and equipment spacific to Defence.
Job Details:Perform maintenance, servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance; undertake major overhauls and authorised modifications to vehicles, plant and defence equipment to the extent of trade qualifications, skills and experience in accordance with Broadspectrum instructions and procedures and manufacturers specifications.
Operate other plant and equipment where qualified and licensed. '
Ensure that technical procedures and Inspection and Test Plans are performed in accordance with QA requirements.
Perform manual tasks associated with maintenance and construction as required, including safe working duties.
Determine parts and materials requirements for acquisition in relation to plant and equipment servicing, maintenance and repairs. Assist when required with the outsourcing of maintenance work to approved contractors.
