Job Summary: Due to the growth of our for-purpose and commercial operations we are currently seeking an experienced Financial Controller capable of driving transformational change. You will be leading a team of professionals that will look to you for guidance and support. You will have an inclusive leadership style with a focus on developing others and always looking to improve processes and adding value to the team. As the Financial Controller you will be responsible for ensuring accurate monthly and statutory reporting, robust controls and commercial insights to support our executive leadership team and their decision-making. You will question and challenge the status quo in order to drive operational and financial performance and partner with all senior level stakeholders to ensure strategic plans are achieved. You will drive compliance and will lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Partner the executive leadership team to deliver accurate, timely and compliant accounting for PresCare
  
   


• Lead and inspire a team of accounting professionals building an inclusive, collaborative culture

• Driving ongoing process improvement

• Managing projects in line with PresCare's strategic plan

 

Ideally you will be CA or CPA qualified with significant demonstrated experience as a Financial Controller within organisations who have implemented significant transformational change.

 

Requirements:

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to exert influence across the business will be fundamental to your success
  
   


• An inquisitive, commercial mindset with a customer first mentality
  
   


• A willingness to be hands on to meet deadlines
  
   


• A professional background across retail accounting, inventory management, manufacturing or Government funding would be highly desirable.
  
   


• Experience coaching, mentoring and identifying professional development opportunities for your team
